In case you haven't noticed, Microsoft Vista has gotten a bad wrap. Actually, its reputation would have to drastically improve to reach the level of "bad." Even the lovable Jerry Seinfeld can't seem to get this thing turned around. Yah, it's been a near total disaster.
A major reason for this (though certainly not the only one) is that a great deal of "Vista-bashing" is being done by people who've neither seen nor used the operating system, yet continue to insist on its inferiority.
Smart people call this a cognitive bias. For the rest of us, the bandwagon effect.
Microsoft understands this. And as you may have already seen, they recently designed a pseudo-experiment wherein test subjects (quite hostile to Vista, by the way) were given an advanced copy of Microsoft “Mojave”, which was actually Vista incognito, and asked for their feedback.

Of course, this "ah ha!" testimonial still hasn't swayed popular opinion in the other direction. If anything, it might have even created a consumer backlash. This guy certainly seems to think so.
So bash Vista if you must, but give it a try yourself and critique it based on your own experience.
